EDUCATION AND LIBRARY FACILITIES:

The inmates who are illiterate are being subjected to literacy drive under the Adult Education Scheme with the help of trained teachers. Prisoners are allowed to continue their education through Open Universities.

The details of number of inmates being permitted to pursue their education through open universities and fee’s paid by the Department towards their admission and exam during the year under report are as under:
